Science – One Day

Join us for a three-hour weekly session live on ZOOM with Lindsay, (day will depend on the students age – and grouping) where students will dive deep into both practical and theoretical aspects of chemistry. Our focus this term is on creating useful and healthy natural products, an approach that combines scientific learning with real-world applications.
Students will have the opportunity to make:
– Rosemary hair oil
– Garlic and raw honey syrup
– Old Man Saltbush Decoction and more!.
As part of the program, students will also produce a Canva booklet, capturing their experiences and newly acquired foundational chemistry knowledge.

The Raw Challenge

Arrival Time: 9.45am for a 10am start. We have 3.5 hours to complete the course
What you need to wear: enclosed shoes and active wear or clothes that are easy to move in and get muddy / wet
After the event: Towel, change of clothes, jumper, water
Please note ** For children under the age of 10, there will be some obstacles they will be unable to do. The minimum age to do the course is 5.
There are BBQ’s we can use for a community lunch after the event. BYO BBQ food for a Lions’ family lunch.
