For the Sydney kids- we will meet at the Australian Museum at 9:45am ready for a 10am tour.

The tour is only 45 minutes but we will have a wander in the museum afterwards.

Cost is $22 per person.

Students are Ok to attend this on their own, but parents are also welcome to join. Please let us know if parents are attending.

If parents drop off, please note you would need to be back at the museum by 11am as we will walk to the park to have some lunch.

Description

On Monday March 11th, the students will enjoy a learning excursion to enhance the work they have been doing in class with the text, ‘Strangers on Country.’

Too often Australian history is told only from a European perspective. Imagining events from both Indigenous Australian and European perspectives, the authors have brought to life remarkable true stories that inspire connection and understanding giving the kids a broader and more critical perspective on which to see the world.

To enhance our understanding, we have organised a learning excursion to join an Educator Led tour for a First Nations exhibition.
